Product designers are in charge of the entire product creation process. You are ultimately responsible for discovering and defining a problem, and then empathically designing a solution. The skills must-have range from technical to human-centered design. Product designers take part in user research, prototyping, visualization, testing, analyzing, and communicating.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Your primary responsibility will be to work as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers in following a the Basecamp Shape Up workflow building large, complex digital products
- Contribute to the product design process for either one of: upmarket products, game configuration, server hosting platforms.
- Should be familiar with: research, user personas, sitemaps, user-flows, wireframes, user testing plans, interface designs, style guides, and more
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous working experience as a Product Designer for 1 year(s)
- You’ve gone to a UX design bootcamp or have taken UX design course(s)
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinker with a vision
